Who We Are
In the Fall of 2001 the BC Sno Riders Snowmobile Club was formed and included the following founding members: Mike & Jean Baldwin, Robert & Bonnie Benjamin, Robert Blakeslee, Dana Ellis, Jeff & Sigrid Gilkeson, Mike Hawkins, Chris LaClair, Ed Mosher, Scott & Nancy Phelps, Kyle & Debbie Pritchard, John Siewers, Richard Smith and Ken Westfall.
In 2002 the club purchased a 1971 Alpine with a Frenchie drag and began their trail grooming program. The club received NYS trail funds for the first time in 2003.
That same year they added 2004 Skandic purchased from Owen's Marine and built two Custom fabricated Frenchie drags. Continued growth in 2004 resulted in 19 miles of funded trail and the addition of a 2005 Skandic and a donated trail planner. Further expansion in 2005 included 29 miles of State funded trails and a new trail with 5 bridges was cleared to Silo. We are shopping for Mogul Master style drags for our Skandics.
